Aasen, a PGA member since 1989, brings over 20 years of golf
experience to The Golf Academy at Westwood Plateau.
John's commitment to excellence and his love for the game have
forged the path for professional career success at both the teaching
and playing levels. John attributes his accomplishments to
the endless support from his parents.

My brother, Greg, and I founded this event
in memory of our mother... Flora Aasen, who passed away in
year 2000 due to complications
from Alzheimer disease. Golf was a big part of our household, and my mother enjoyed many days on the Pitt Meadows golf course. As a tribute
to her, the Pro-Am is a celebration of her life, and a great way for friends and golfers alike
to support a worthwhile cause in a familiar setting. |
